SUMMER’S ENDED

PERSONAL WORK

Two new vases, the larger one was created from single stroke drawn up the lathe, with a smaller solid version to compliment it.

The rug in this interior reminded me of 'The balcony 2, (1975) by Brett Whiteley' and how entrancingly deep the ultramarine tones in that painting are. It's the coolest surreal depiction of Sydney Harbour and the sheer size the painting makes you feel like you're in it. Everytime I go to the Art Gallery of NSW I stare at it as long as I can and get lost in it, he's by far my favourite Australian painter.

I also decided to try and incorporate my film photography into some of these interiors I've been creating where fitting.
